writing a paper on Shaker Theology, watching gut-wrenchingly-sad movie trailers with caroline and drinking my third double americano...all on a monday night.

so its clearly that time of the semester where i tend to drown myself in Bell Orchestre.
sometimes its pretty much all i can study/read/write to.

made it out to expozine today (after a super lovely pretend lunch with courtney)
picked up some great jack dylan prints;



also visited one of my favorite friends/uganda travel buddy/film class date (Shoshana Walfish), who was tabling at expozine.

oh and, heard a man do a pretty phenomenal slam poetry version of a.bird's Fake Palindromes the other night.
i wish i had a video or audio clip to share.
but instead i give you the next best thing;



and now for an evening of writing and jasmine tea.

lately ive been so utterly content with life.
maybe its the fall.
scarves and wind and rosy cheeks.
being all bundled up.


and being able to go home to this every once and a while certainly does not hurt..!


or having this little guy help me through all the readings and the writing...


and the pierre lapointe phase im going through can't hurt....


maybe its just everything!

i promise that i will update soon.

so i just realized its been a month since my last post.
so much to say, but no motivation.

maybe when schooltime procrastination starts....?

fell hard for this little number, by the oh-so-hit-or-miss Francis Vallejo.

birthday came and went. super nice little dinner chez moi with a couple fantastic people. and three hours of dishes (no complaints).

went out for a bunch of birthday breakfasts. eggs turned off, brown bread, potatoes and grilled tomatoes, heaven.

mom bought me a beautiiiiful tree, nicely tucked away in the living room!

was lucky enough to catch the tail end of New Orleans on some movie network this evening. lord i loved that film;
